Our Story
BuiltSign started in 2026 when we experienced firsthand the frustration of signing large business documents. Existing tools were slow, clunky, and couldn't handle files larger than a few megabytes.
We set out to build something better. A platform that could handle 800-page contracts as easily as a single-page NDA. Fast, secure, and a pleasure to use.
Today, BuiltSign is used by businesses of all sizes, from solo entrepreneurs to growing teams. There's a lot more to come.

- Electronic signature platform for contracts, quotes and other PDFs. Signers sign in the browser, without an account.

- Signature levels
- Simple electronic signature (SES) under eIDAS. SES+ adds an ID check with selfie before the document is shown. No qualified signature (QES).
- Extra verification
- Optional SMS code right before signing. The code names the document.
- File size
- Up to 1 GB per document on Business Plus and Enterprise, 250 MB on Business, 80 MB on Pro.
- Evidence
- An audit certificate for every signing with a SHA-256 document hash, a timeline per signer and an RFC 3161 timestamp from DigiCert. Publicly verifiable at builtsign.com/verify.
- No AI
- We do not use AI to read your documents. Field detection runs entirely in your own browser.
- Data
- Stored in the EU. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit.
