Document fully signed

Fires when all parties on a signing request have completed their signatures. Use this to archive the signed PDF, notify a team member, or update a deal stage in your CRM.

When a contract is fully signed, create a folder in Google Drive and upload the PDF.

Signer completes their signature

Fires each time one signer completes their part, even if other signers are still pending. Useful for multi-party workflows where each signature triggers a next step.

When the first party signs, send a reminder to the second party via Slack.

Part of your BuiltSign plan

The Zapier integration is available on Business and Enterprise plans. Once active, you connect BuiltSign to Zapier using your API key from the BuiltSign developer settings. The app is currently available as a private integration.

Questions about the Zapier integration

No. Signers only receive an email with a personal signing link. They sign directly in their browser. No account, no app, no friction.
Zapier is available on Business and Enterprise plans. If you are on Pro and want to discuss access, contact us.
Yes. You can combine Zapier's Google Drive integration with the BuiltSign action. When a new file appears in a specific folder, pass it to the BuiltSign Create Signing Request action.
BuiltSign does not limit the number of Zaps. Standard Zapier plan limits apply on the Zapier side.
Declined and cancelled signing requests do not trigger the completed event. You can handle these cases by adding error paths in your Zap using Zapier's built-in filters.
